One of the driving forces behind the business of Original Presents, LLC, is the desire to build connections that enrich and deepen relationships whether across the table, across the room or across the world. We donate a portion of our profits to organizations whose missions are dear to our hearts.
Our primary charity is the Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation, which helps families bring their daughters home from indentured servitude; funds education for these children; and provides a nurturing home life to orphaned and abandoned children in Kathmandu. Karen Miller traveled to Nepal in 2003, and had a life changing experience as a result of the visit. She was especially moved by the spiritual beauty and simple friendliness of the people in the kingdom of Nepal. This is a third world country, very poor in material things, but abundant in warmth and kindness.
